what you NEED TO KNOW before you book your brow appointment
What are Combo Brows?
A perfect addition to eyelash extensions, Combo Brows is a semi-permanent form of tattooing that is performed using a manual pen and machine with a very fine set of needles to implant color beneath the surface of the skin, to produce the appearance of hair strokes or makeup. A combination of microblading and Shading is the perfect mix.
How long does it last?
The frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors Combo Brows are considered semi-permanent, meaning, they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 1-3 years. including the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure), Certain medications (thyroid medications in particular), and if any chemical peels or laser treatments come into contact with tattooed areas.
Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch-up appointment and make any changes necessary. Touch-ups are normal for cosmetic tattoo procedures, within a year or two. With each new procedure requiring at least 2 visits. The initial procedure followed by a touch-up procedure about 4-6 weeks later. Previously tattooed areas will generally always require additional appointments due to scar tissue.
Does it hurt?
Most of our clients state no pain, a topical anesthetic will be applied throughout the procedure to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout your procedure. The pain threshold varies from person to person and more discomfort should be expected if you are getting tattooed during your menstrual cycle.
